Taylor's journey to fame began with YouTube. Taylor began with making ASMR videos using her smartphone. PewDiePie utilized her video for an episode of one his shows shortly after she reached 50,000 subscribers around 1 1/2 months after she posted her first. Taylor's Youtube channel reached 100,000 subscribers within two months. Taylor ceased to produce videos and put them on private. The main reason was technical issues, new equipment problems, and she was overwhelmed with her fame. She began producing videos after the break of one month. This included the extremely famous ASMR Ten Triggers to help You sleep. (35,000,000 views in the end of August, 2022). ASMR 20, Triggers for Sleeping, first appeared on YouTube in July 2017 and has since been watched by 38 million people. In August 2017 Shane Dawson interviewed her and she soon reached one million YouTube users. Wired UK reported that in February of 2019, she was earning 1,000 dollars per day by advertising on her YouTube channel

Helfer is a native of the rural area of Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis and Elaine Helfer. Her parents are from German, English, Swedish and Norwegian descent. She attended Stettler's William E. Hay Composite High School. The three sisters she shares with lived on the family's wheat farm. At age 17 a modeling scout of an agency came across Helfer when he was waiting in line for a cinema.
